Darling Deer... "Bambi" Nightengale

Ohhhh my goodness it's here you guys! Halloween ... such a fun, creative, thrilling time of the year! I have always dressed up and had a blast creating my costume. Little did I know the year I crafted my "Bambi" costume it would become so very popular. I can not even tell you how many emails, text and private messages I have received requesting "how to" details for this costume! So here ya go! This is for all of you lovely ladies inspired by this look!

1. It started with the Body Armour - BCG brand// Academy

2. Time to dye the fabric- Rit Dye// Walmart

3. Spray paint! yes thats right I even spray painted it!- Krylon Brown Spray paint// Walmart

8. Fluffy bunny tail I found a at costume store, I bought the style you wear around your waist, the shirt covered the elastic. - Bunny Tail// Halloween Spirit Costume Store

9. Antlers, this was a little tricky for me to find. I kept finding cute deer antlers but they were all Christmas themed. If you can find a pair you like I would wear them, however I used dramatic white branch like Christmas tree decoration. I loved how dramatic they were. I pulled my hair half up half down and stuck the branches in my pony tail.- Antlers// Garden Ridge

10. Let the fun begin... face painting time! I wore my normal foundation, Make-up forever matte velvet, with Kryolan face paints to create my Bambi look.- Kryolan Paint Palette// Kryolan.com

Here is a close up of the make-up on my little sis...

Happy Halloween!!!
